Construction of the new legal and consular building

Planning architecture means constantly learning. The local climate and collaboration with local construction companies shape the design of this challenging project. The building’s design allows it to be operated without air conditioning. The design and communication of the plans are coordinated with partners in Cameroon and Germany.

Complete rehabilitation at Fehrbelliner Platz 2

VgV Procedure / Architectural Design

The building, constructed in 1936, was designed by architect Otto Firle for Nordstern Insurance. The unusual structure (steel skeleton) features a curtain wall façade made of natural stone. The renovation will restore parts of the building’s open floor plan and modern, high-quality interior.

Construction will begin in 2026.

International Congress Center Berlin

Consulting on Strategic Development

For the International Congress Centre (ICC) and its surrounding context, a design competition was initiated to explore potential future uses for this exceptional landmark. The office provides advice on the formulation of guiding principles in regards to monument protection law and the future development of this special building.
Submitted concepts were evaluated with regard to their sensitivity and approach to this singular monument of late-modern architecture.

Marinehaus as Part of the Creative Quarter at Köllnischer Park

Acting in an advisory capacity, parts of the design and execution planning were developed for this architecturally and technically ambitious building. The collaboration with Adept, Copenhagen, was marked by a shared pursuit of clarity, material refinement, and a coherent architectural language that resonates with the creative spirit of its urban context.
