The Ambassador’s Residence in Harare is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment. A key aspect of the design was the development of a restoration strategy for the slate roof. The covered outdoor area is visually and structurally distinguished from the existing building by a glass joint. This intervention allows the house to preserve its architectural integrity while achieving a harmonious extension into the surrounding outdoor space.
